KATY PERRY  Katy Perry took a bit of Asian influence with her to the VMA red carpet! She wore a springy floral blue, pink, and yellow Atelier Versace frock, hot pink strappy Jimmy Choo sandals, and a matching parasol, which made her freshly dyed pink hair POP. KELLY ROWLAND  If there's one person that looked FLAWLESS, it was Ms. Kelly Rowland. She paired her black and gold sheer, feather, and leather Falguni and Shane Peacock mini dress with studded Christian Louboutin peep toes and minimal accessories. Who needs 'em when you've got a dress that uh-mazing on a BODY that CRAMAZING? #dead ZOE SALDANA  Zoe Saldana also opted for black and gold, but this time from Barbara Bui. She finished her look with a clean updo, no-nonsense patent nude pumps, and a to-die-for cat eye. NICKI MINAJ  Nicki Minaj makes our top 10 not because she falls under conventional standards of beauty, but because of her bravery, confidence, and the all-around epicness of her multifaceted (literally) ensemble. The girl's style meteor is steadily rising, and this black lacy hi-low hem Julien MacDonald gown paired with gold Brian Atwood heels is another gorgeous well-earned notch to add to her belt. JESSIE J  VMA House ArtistJessie J was a real trooper, performing all Night (and we mean ALL night—girl clearly has some PIPES to sound that amazing for that long), embellished boot and crutches and all. We TOTALLY bow down to her commitment to panache, even despite injury, because we know the last thing we'd be able to will ourselves into whilst cast-ridden is a gem encrusted leotard and translucent tights. DEMI LOVATO  MTV Style staple Demi Lovato did not disappoint at tonight's awards in a silver bejeweled body-con by Mandalay cut to there and metal-toed Christian Louboutin heels. As always, her beauty game was flawless, with the perfect shade of nude swiped across her lips and just the right amount of smoky eye—excellent complements to her big-barrel ombré curls. JOJO  JoJo stunned in a black Marco Marco strapless dress. The frock's voluminous skirt contrasted with the sheer panels and structured seams of the bodice for a refreshing balance of girly and edgy.
