American singer, JoJo, has just released some details about her latest album. Planned to be titled "All I Want Is Everything", the name of the CD has now been changed to "Jumping Trains".
Talking via a video message, she said, "My third Album will be called 'Jumping Trains' and it's very symbolic for a variety of reasons. Moving from Boston to L.A., transitioning from being a girl to being a young woman, living on my own, taking a different direction sonically, and just really finding myself and just jumping into a new chapter of life.."
JoJo made her entry into the music business through the US television show "America's Most Talented Kids". Noticed by a record producer, she was invited to audition, and released her first Album in 2004. The self-titled debut Album has sold over 3 million copies worldwide. Two years later she released her next Album "The High Road".
Last September JoJo released a mixtape titled 'Can't Take That Away from Me', which is a prelude to her upcoming album.
She has made mention of some details about the album, saying, "I'm shooting the video for the first single off my upcoming Album within the next couple weeks. ... I'm so excited! I can't wait to share it with you."
Last December, JoJo released the song 'Hollywood' via the web, as she said, "for fans' listening pleasure". But no details have been leaked as to whether or not the track will be part of the new album. The song makes a statement, with its powerful lyrics, about people living the "enchanting" life in Hollywood.
Talking about the new Album and what she intends to do with it, she said, "I don't like to sing about things that don't have feeling and that I don't relate to."
"I Want it to be a slice of my life, other young people and young women to relate to it and I kinda Want it to stretch across the board. I don't wanna sound like anyone else. I don't Want people to say oh she's biting off that. It's a time of experimentation and falling on your face and so all those things I'm talking about just messing up and making dumb decisions, hurting
people and getting hurt and having to work through that."
